Chinese CRRC to produce locomotives and wagons in Bulgaria: Bulgarian Transport Minister, World's Largest Railway Equipment Manufacturer to Invest 300-400 Million EURO for the Production of Locomotives in Bulgaria

Transport Minister Hristo Aleksiev has announced that CRRC, the world's largest railway equipment manufacturer, plans to produce locomotives and wagons for the Balkans in Bulgaria. The Chinese company CRRC's annual turnover is about 45 billion USD. Minister Aleksiev said the investor had contacted the government. Aleksiev informed that there is no guarantee offered by the government for this investment.
