Adana-Mersin high speed train line construction was started on 27.01.2015 and 45 percent physical progress was achieved. The infrastructure and superstructure of the project is planned to be completed and completed in 2018. In order to increase passenger satisfaction on the Adana-Mersin line, 52 flights are made daily with new air-conditioned DMU sets. When the works between Adana and Mersin are completed, the number of trips will be doubled. "
