KarşıyakaMetropolitan Surprise for Friends of the Book-Konak Ferry: Those traveling with the Konak-Bostanlı ferry met with the surprise of the Library Week of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality. Citizens who read books on the journey were accompanied by a book with applause and a badge and a brace with the text “I am reading you?”.
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, 27 March - 2 April celebrated between the events of the Library Week was organized for each other. In order to encourage reading, this year a new book was presented to citizens who read books during the ferry trip. These surprise passengers received great acclaim.

The friends of the book, who said that they liked the event organized by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality in order to encourage reading, invited everyone to read books especially in public transportation vehicles. Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Volunteer Team will distribute 1000 pieces from the book ”Change Starts with You“ throughout the week.
