Tunnel construction on the YHT line is one of the houses: Kızılkaya Mahallesi, located near the construction of the High Speed Train tunnel in the Geyve District of Sakarya, has been declared as a 'disaster-exposed area' due to landslides. Notifications were sent to the residents of the region to evacuate their homes. The people of the neighborhood, who did not want to move from their homes, sent a petition to the Presidency and the Prime Ministry and asked for a re-examination.
Investigations were carried out to detect the flood in Kızılkaya Mahallesi, which has a tunnel construction of the High Speed Train project in Geyve. At the end of the examinations made by experts, it was decided that the region, where 30 households are located, was the 'disaster-exposed area' with the decision of the Council of Ministers due to the shifts in the land. The governor's office sent a notification to the residents of 30 households who were described as 'victims of disaster' to evacuate the houses. The residents who sent petitions to the Presidency and the Prime Ministry asked for a re-examination and said that we do not want to leave here.
