Train Tickets in England

Train Tickets in the UK Become History: Passengers who prefer rail transportation in the UK will be able to pay for their tickets through a fingerprint or eye scanning system.

In the news reflected to the British press, the project offered to reduce the crowds in the train stations will allow passengers to pay by fingerprint or iris scanning system instead of using paper tickets.

According to the statement made by Rail Delivery Group (RDG), a group of rail operators based in London, travel charges can be paid automatically with the biometric system.

Paul Plummer, Senior Manager of RDG, who started the project, stated that these steps should be taken and how the project shows how digital technologies can be used to provide passengers with better travel.
