Sabiha Gökçen Kurtköy Metro opens in 2020: 3-stop, 6-kilometer metro line to operate between Sabiha Gökçen Airport and Kurtköy Kadıköy and will integrate metro lines starting from Üsküdar.

The entire metro line of Sabiha Gökçen-Kurtköy, which will be built in 6 km, will be underground. The cost of the new line to be constructed in the tunnels that will be opened by TBMs is 760 million pounds. The project to start at 2018 will be completed in the middle of 2020. Sabiha Gökçen-Kurtköy metro line will be opened at the end of 2020.

For the project whose EIA report has been completed, the 3 station to be connected to Sabiha Gökçen Airport will be constructed. A passenger who travels from Sabiha Gökçen will be able to travel at Teknopark, Yenişehir and Kurtköy stations. Each station is an average of 140 meters long and will occupy an area of ​​3 thousand 500 square meters.

The built-in metro line will be integrated into the Kaynarca central station, which will become a transfer hub. In other words, a passenger departing from Kurtköy will be able to reach Sabiha Gökçen and reach Kaynarca Transfer Center from every point of Istanbul.
