New Funding for Extension of the Moroccan Capital Rabat Sale Tram Line: It was announced that the Al Assima group will use the 180 million dirhem loan from the Urbanization Equipment Fund (MEF) for the extension of the line between Rabat Sale. The fund will be used for the extension of 7 km two-way project, while the financing of the 51 tram project of Al Assima Group 180 million dirhams, Bouregreg Agency 100 million dirhams and City-Intercity Transportation Reform Fund will contribute to the 592 million dirhams. On the sale side of the aforementioned line, 4.6 and Rabat are expected to extend an extension of 2.4 km, while technical support is signed between Rabat Sale tram company (STRS) and consortium.
