Train crash in Luxembourg

Train crash in Luxembourg: passenger train and freight train collided in Luxembourg. According to preliminary information, at least 4 people were injured.

According to L'essentiel newspaper, the accident occurred at around 9 pm local time between the train maneuver station in the town of Bettembourg in the south of the country and the town of Zoufftgen.

Stating that two of the injured were in severe condition and were taken to the hospital, the newspaper announced that the Ministers of Interior and Transportation arrived at the accident site.

Luxembourg State Railways Corporation (CFL), the next notification until the train between Luxembourg and the French town of Thionville 48 announced that the hour was stopped. The company also stated that the cause of the accident has not yet been determined.
