KadıköyOccupational Accident in Metro Construction, 1 Dead: Istanbul's Kadıköy During the excavation work at the Ayşekadın metro station of the Dudullu-Bostancı Metro construction, which is still under construction in the district of Konya, the construction machine hit a worker. One worker died as a result of the accident.
The accident took place at the Ayşekadın metro station of Dudullu-Bostancı subway, located on Şemsettin Günaltay street in the waters of 10.30. According to information received, the construction of the subway tunnel during the excavation of a work machine, Ibrahim Gungor hit the worker.
Following the accident, employees reported the situation to the police and health teams. Medical teams who came to the scene in a short time came to the tunnel and found that the worker lost his life. Police teams pulled the security strip of the entrance of the tunnel to the scene of the incident and gave information about the prosecution. After the investigation of the crime scene and the prosecutor's office was removed from the tunnel with the help of a funeral elevator.
A relative who burst into tears comforted other workers. During the work, two workers were brought to the police station to take their statements. The funeral was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute Morgu after it was put in the funeral vehicle waiting in the subway construction area. The police investigation into the incident continues.
