Karşıyaka On the route of the tram, the construction of the 1st part up to the middle median will start on January 21, in the connection of the single line tram that passes in front of Ahmet Adnan Saygun Park (land side) of Hasan Ali Yücel Boulevard to the sea side. Within the scope of the 15-day study, temporary traffic arrangement will be made by displacing the road body after the entrance of Hasan Ali Yücel Boulevard to Cemal Gürsel Avenue. After the productions of the 1st part up to the middle refuge from the land side are completed, the manufacturing of the 2nd part after the middle median will be started. In this region, the traffic will be reduced to two lanes and the current traffic pattern will continue.
Asphalting work on Mustafa Kemal Sahil Boulevard
Asphalt paving works will start on the part of Mustafa Kemal Beach Boulevard, where Konak Tram passes, between Şehit Major Ali Official Tufan Street and 16 Street as of January 21st. Excavations up to 30-40 centimeters will be made in this area in order to bring the road body to the project level. The works, which are planned to be completed in 15 days, will be carried out first on the land side and then on the sea side. In the first week, the part of the road on the sea side will serve in both directions. In the work section, two lanes towards Konak and one lane towards Üçkuyular will be provided in the morning. In the evening, as the intensity changes direction, two lanes towards Üçkuyular and one lane towards Konak will be provided. In the second week, as the work will be carried out on the sea side of the road, the transportation here will also be transferred to the land side.
Line production begins on Şair Eşref Boulevard
From Saturday, January 21, 2017, line manufacturing works will be started at Şair Eşref Boulevard on the Konak Tramvayı route. However, the work in this region will be longer and will be carried out in stages. Within the scope of the 1st phase of the line laying work, work will be carried out in the 460-meter section between Alsancak Hocazade Mosque and Lausanne Square. In this process, the part in the direction of Çankaya-Alsancak will be closed to traffic first. Transportation will be provided both ways from the opposite lane. Then, within the framework of the 2nd Stage, work will be carried out in the opposite lane in the same region and this time the other lane will be opened to transportation in both directions. The first two stages will take 2 months. During the works, all kinds of traffic directions will be made and the productions will be completed on Şair Eşref Boulevard.
