Stating that the “Samsun-Çorum-Ankara, Ankara-Çorum-Samsun High Speed Train” project, which has been announced as good news to the people of Samsun for years by the Deputies of the Government, stated that there is not good news as stated in the 2017 Investment Program in the Official Gazette, Taner Tekin said, “We see in the Official Gazette that the project is still in the study phase. "The project seems impossible to end in 2020, as promised and told."
Stating that the Samsun-Çorum-Ankara High Speed Train Project is not on the agenda of the state, Tekin said: “For about 5 years, the ruling deputies have constantly talked about the high-speed train line in the election areas. They painted the eyes of the public with statements such as "The project is ready, the tender is done, it is ending soon". However, it seems among the 2017 investment program published in the official newspaper that the project is still in the study phase. So there is neither a tender nor a progress as it is said. It seems difficult to finish the study this year, considering the allowances allocated. So in 2020, let alone the completion of the project, it seems like a miracle that the study work is ready. On the other hand, the Samsun-Çorum-Ankara high-speed train line is not included in the website of the Ministry of Transport-Communication and Maritime Affairs and among the state's current and near-term high-speed train projects.
