Studies on this route; Eskişehir-Kütahya-Zafer Airport-Afyonkarahisar, Afyonkarahisar-Burdur and Burdur-Antalya, including the 3 progresses on a separate stage.
Kavuncu also said: "Turkey has met with high-speed trains for the first time thanks to the AK Party. Ankara-Istanbul YHT project was first mentioned in 2003 but the first passenger traveled in 2014. Currently, the last stop in Istanbul is still Pendik. High speed train projects are long-term projects. Feasibility study, map-survey, application project, tender process, infrastructure, superstructure, tunnels and bridges, electrical hardware and infrastructure, road art works, train stations, connection roads are all made from scratch.

The most advanced stage is Eskişehir-Kütahya-Afyonkarahisar stage. Currently, this Project is still in progress and in the other stages, the project is in the stage of the project tender. The ongoing project work on the Eskişehir-Kütahya-Afyonkarahisar stage will be completed at the end of 2017. Then, the expropriation work will be carried out and the construction tender will be started. The construction of this line is expected to last 3-4 years. When the line is completed, it will be possible to travel directly to Ankara-Kütahya-Zafer Airport by high-speed train and will be connected with Istanbul. When the project is complete, the Istanbul-Kütahya-Antalya line will be opened and the National High Speed Rail network will be included.
Within the scope of the project, new Garage will be built at Kutahya Alayunt and Zafer Airport. It is clear that the connection of Zafer Airport will bring new opportunities in terms of tourism and business potential. Z
