High Security Activated for the Eurasia Tunnel: The two-storey Eurasia Tunnel, where wheeled vehicles will pass after the Marmaray and Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, will be put into service on December 20 to ease the traffic in Istanbul. The foundation of the Eurasia Tunnel, the second meeting of Asia and Europe under the Bosphorus after Marmaray, was laid in 2011. The tunnel, which was implemented with the Build-Operate-Transfer model for 1 billion 245 million dollars, was built 160 meters below the ground. 14.6 thousand vehicles will pass through the Eurasia Tunnel, which has a total length of 130 kilometers. The 100-minute road between Kazlıçeşme and Göztepe will be reduced to 15 minutes, and hundreds of millions of dollars will be saved with the Eurasia Tunnel.
3 STAGE TUNNEL
The Eurasia Tunnel consists of 3 main sections: 'Europe', 'Bosphorus' and 'Anatolia'. The Eurasia Tunnel, built on 2 floors, can be entered and exited from both the European and Anatolian sides. From the upper floor of the Eurasia Tunnel, go from Kazlıçeşme to Göztepe, and from the lower floor to Kazlıçeşme from Göztepe. When using the Eurasia Tunnel, it will pay $ 4 + VAT for cars and $ 6 + VAT for minibuses. In addition, mobile phones will be received with the base station located at the deepest point of the Eurasia Tunnel.

The Eurasia Tunnel stands out with its high security. In the tunnel 24 advanced systems have been activated for safe, healthy and uninterrupted traffic flow over the clock. Every 300 meter has an upward exit area and many infirmary rooms have been designed for accidents. At the same time, the tunnel was constructed in such a way that it is not affected by the risks of earthquake and tsunami. In case of fire on one floor of the tunnel, special materials were used so as not to spill on the other floor. In the tunnel, closed circuit camera system, event detection systems, communication and notification systems were displayed where 7 day 24 hours were observed.
