Vehicle Tender for Gayrettepe - Istanbul New Airport Metro Line Will Be Launched: Within the scope of Gayrettepe - Istanbul New Airport Metro Line Project, General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments is expected to start preparations for specifications in the coming days to open 96 metro vehicles auctions.
According to the feasibility reports prepared by the General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments, these vehicles will be domestic production and will be manufactured in accordance with the desired specifications. Metro vehicles will have a speed of 100 km, and will run on the metro line at intervals of 5-10 minutes. Each of the metro vehicles will be supplied in 8 sets.
A contract was signed with the joint venture of Şenbay Mining - Kolin Construction, which won the tender for the Supply and Installation and Commissioning of the Gayrettepe - Istanbul New Airport Metro Line Construction and Electromechanical Systems on 7 December 2016.
