Ahmet Arslan, Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, gave the high-speed train good news to Adıyaman. Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Ahmet Arslan visited Adıyaman Governor's Office after the groundbreaking ceremony of the 41-kilometer-long 1st part of asphalt road in Adıyaman. Minister Arslan, who signed the Governor's Honor Book, held a press conference afterwards. Governor Abdulah Erin expressed his satisfaction with Minister Arslan's visit.
Minister Arslan, who gave the good news of high-speed train to Adıyaman, said that they have been making significant investments in Adıyaman and the country for 14 years, and that they are working to meet new expectations and demands. Minister Arslan said, “Osmangazi Bridge, Yavuzsultan Bridge, Çanakkale Bridge, Marmara Project, Eurasia Tunnel are making a sound worldwide. Besides these important projects, regional projects are also very important. Nissibi Bridge is very important for the region. This bridge alone is not enough. While there were 2020 kilometers of divided roads until 23, today this figure has increased to 208 kilometers. Project work is carried out on the environment that has an expectation in Adıyaman. The project of the 29-kilometer divided road is being carried out. ”
Stating that they will prepare the project by tendering the high-speed train project by the end of this year by making a 62-kilometer railway connection from Gölbaşı district to Adıyaman, Minister Arslan said, “When we talked about the fast trend in Adıyaman, they said it was not on our agenda. We are not talking about things we will not do as the AK Party. We worked on this with our deputies, our mayor and our governor. We did not want to explain this good news to the public without bringing it to a certain stage. As of the end of this year, we will tender and prepare the high speed train project that will make the 62 km railway connection from Gölbaşı district to Adıyaman. We will connect Adıyaman to the main backbone of the high speed train. Thus, I hope that Adıyaman will have a high-speed train. ”
Minister Arslan later visited Adıyaman Municipality. Here, Arslan, who signed the Municipality's Honor Book, gave information about the municipal services to the Mayor Hüsrev Kutlu. Minister Arslan thanked Mayor Hüsrev Kutlu for his services.
