Prime Class and CIP services, logistics activities, mechanical maintenance and repair units, fire fighting teams, duty-free employees, all ground handling services, airport terminal operators, apron staff,

baggage handling system officers, car park and valet units, environment and nature teams, all staff in the food and beverage areas, security, cleaning and administrative jobs, such as staff, especially support staff, accounting, business development, law, information technologies, corporate communication, will be recruited in the fields of aviation and non-aviation marketing and human resources.

6 BIRD OBSERVER IS WORKING
An environmental department was established at İGA in January 2014. There are environmental engineers, sociologists and 22 ornithologists (bird watchers) in the department of 6 people. Ornithologists observe in the field during migration seasons between 1 March - 30 May and 1 August - 1 November, and take bird records. For this, they rented a bird radar for two years, and now a radar system for 1-dimensional data analysis of 3 million Euros has been ordered to be used during operation. Ülkü Özeren, Director of IGA Environment and Sustainability, says that they have carried 100 thousand snowdrop onions, over 150 thousand in total, and also 450 turtles from inside the project area so far. One of the main agenda items of the environmental department is women's employment and local employment.

"WE ARE LOOKING FOR EMPLOYMENT FROM VILLAGES"
Özeren explains their work as follows: “We are looking at developing projects to actively raise income for women living at home. We have relations with 9 direct and indirect villages. We are traveling from village to village, trying to increase the public's interest in the project. We use the products produced by women in the village, such as jams and tarhanas, at the airport. We created a microsite and started working to bridge the gap between women and employees who work directly on order basis. For local employment, we are working on the potential that will provide local employment, we create a bridge between local people and HR. We are trying to improve the capacity of this resource according to the needs, we work with vocational training centers and district education directorates, and we prepare training programs together.
