Emphasizing that Sivas and Mardin Mazıdağı will be connected to Samsun Port, Apaydın said, “Making the Mazıdağı line connection through Diyarbakır will make this region one of the most important load centers. We started the projects of this along with the North - South axis in Samsun. Although it is connected with Samsun - Merzifon - Çorum - Delice - Kırşehir - Aksaray - Ulukış, the project work continues at the moment. If we can complete all of these projects in 2017 and include them in the investment program in 2018, we will have an infrastructure capable of passenger operation at a speed of 200 kilometers and freight transportation at a speed of 100-120 kilometers to this region in the next 5-10 years. made the statement.
Apaydın stated that after the completion of the study, Samsun's importance for the region will increase even more.
