Karabük-Zonguldak railway opened again

Karabük-Zonguldak railway was opened to transportation again: The railway, which was closed due to the freight train derailed in Karabük, was opened to transportation after the works.

At the end of the work started by the teams from Karabük and Çankırı after the accident, the locomotive and 4 wagons that were derailed were removed from the scene.

Karabük-Zonguldak train services, which were canceled due to the damage on the rails, started again.

Yesterday, the freight train that went from Karabük to Çatalağzı town of Kilimli district of Zonguldak, was derailed due to the fall of rocks on the railway in Balıkısık location, and the machinists were saved without any injury. After the accident, the train service between Karabük and Zonguldak was canceled.
