Noting that they have transferred more than 50 billion TL of resources so far and they have renewed almost the entire 11 thousand kilometer railway line with these resources, Apaydın said, “In addition, we have commissioned the Ankara - Konya, Ankara - Eskişehir - Istanbul high-speed trains with 213 kilometers. We serve our people with our trains running at a speed of 250 kilometers. We have ongoing high-speed train projects. Ankara - Sivas is about 400 kilometers and we have built the infrastructure of this line, I hope we will start the superstructure construction next year. In a short time, we will reduce the distance between Ankara and Sivas to 2 hours. Our work continues between Ankara and Izmir and this is 624 kilometers. At the same time, we will connect Bursa to the Ankara - Istanbul line. Thus, we will come to a position serving more than 50 percent of the country's population in our high-speed train core network.

Speaking about high-speed train projects as well as YHT investments, Apaydın said, “Some of our work has started in the southern part that will reach Konya-Karaman, Karaman -Ereğli, Adana-Mersin and Gaziantep, and some of our project work continues. We have an Antalya railway project right now. We are doing our project to Antalya via Istanbul, Eskişehir, Afyon and Burdur. I hope he will meet the high speed train in Antalya. It will be connected to both Ankara and Istanbul as passenger and freight transportation. There is the Samsun - Çorum, Kırıkkale - Kırşehir - Aksaray, Adana - Mersin line that we initiated as the North - South project we have developed in recent years. Thus, we will connect Samsun and Mersin ports. In the 2023 vision, we are planning to build 13 thousand kilometers of railway line. I hope we are working day and night to achieve this goal. Apaydın also pointed out that the railway sector has grown together with its sub-industry and said, “Currently, more than 50 companies are working in the market as suppliers to the railways. We have KARDEMİR with us, producing rails for our fast and convention trains. In the future, it will produce wheels and expand its product range. The railway sector has achieved a certain development and its development will continue at the same pace from now on. In this sector, we are planning to train our human resources with our youth at Karabuk University. "We plan to employ these young people as qualified human resources in our railways and rail sectors."
