AK Party Büyükçekmece District President İlker Gürbüz hosted journalists at Kültürpark Bolu House. The connection of our district with the metrobus has been in a waiting position for many years due to the density going down from the top. At the coordination meeting we held last night, we insistently requested a project from our president, Mr. Kadir, to solve the public transportation problem of our region. He also knows our sensitivity on this issue. He gave us serious support and gave the necessary instructions to all the technical team in the region. If nothing goes wrong, they started the metrobus projects on the Büyükçekmece Silivri line ”.

Expressing that the transportation project will be implemented unless otherwise is the case, Gürbüz said, “It is planned to crown this region with the metrobus project by including the Silivri Büyükçekmece line in our public transportation axis. There does not seem to be a serious problem with its implementation. Our provincial president also provides the necessary support on this issue. We hope that our region will have solved its problem in the near future with the metrobus project and will have reached its target. We want to say good luck for Büyükçekme already. However, we are closely following the project that our Kadir president will present from the national press. Because when we share this issue with our friends right away, "where does it pass, where is its stop?" began to be asked. Kadir Topbaş will answer these questions. They are making their preparations. We will say good luck to our region. Metro will be included in 2019 projects. So by 2024, I guess that Büyükçekme will have solved many of its connections related to public transportation and solved its problem. It was a situation we all wanted. There will be two prestige streets in Büyükçekmece

It is natural for him to forget in a 7-hour meeting. I want to contribute in a few points. In Büyükçekmece, especially two of our streets, Mr. Topbaş wants to build prestige streets. We will discuss and determine two of these streets in the municipality. Its construction and project will be completely owned by IMM. Kadir Bey wants to present our two streets as a prestige street to Büyükçekmece. Likewise, as you all know, yesterday we visited the region again with the president, unfortunately, the areas to step on the ground are limited in Büyükçekmece. There are areas we can really use. But at this point, people who absolutely want to have a picnic and want to travel with their children have to go to Çatalca or nearby places. In this regard, we will try to meet our needs for parks and gardens at several points in Büyükçekmece in our work together with our district president. We know that the current municipality also works in this sense. But they work at different points. We want to serve in neglected points without discriminating politics ”.

However, it is obvious that the two streets will be built as prestige streets and all of them will be built by the Metropolitan Municipality. Again, at the point stated by the president, we have a way to reduce the traffic of Istanbul, especially from Çakmaklı. Büyükçekmece Municipality is currently attempting to open this. We hope that the entire asphalt will be made by our Metropolitan Mayor and put it into service. We want to reduce the traffic at certain points. As stated by the president, 4 bridges are being built. We are aware that it is a little late. At the moment, the point connecting Mimarsinan to Büyükçekmece is a little late, but there were certain changes in Büyükşehir. We talked about them last night. I hope those bridges will be operational very soon. You will see certain works in the areas next to the bridge in time. "I will not explain them fully," he said.
