Gülermak Dubai Metro Signed the 2020 Agreement: Under the leadership of Alstom, the agreement between the Expolink consortium, including Gülermak and ACCIONA, and RTA (Road & Transport Authority) was signed by the parties. According to the agreement signed, the Expolink consortium will extend the Red Metro Line of Dubai and develop the existing system.
The total cost of the works will be 2,6 billion euros. Alstom will get half of that. The other half will be shared between ACCIONA and Gülermak. The new line will connect the city center with the Expo 2020 and will be opened in 2020.
Within the scope of the project, a total of 11,8 km line will be constructed, including 3,2 km above ground and 15 km underground. The line will start from the Nakheel Harbor & Tower station as an extension of the red metro line that is currently running. The new station will have a total of 7 stations.
