Esray, which produces wagon-on-vehicle equipment, line containers and their spare parts, will focus on foreign sales. Stating that they entered into export connections in the last months of 2015 with their experience in railway vehicles, Esray Chairman of the Board, Ramazan Yanar said, “Exporting to Germany, which is a difficult market, increases our self-confidence. As a company, we will increase export connections. We aim to grow in exports ”.
Explaining that they were established in 2007 to make special production for the railway and transportation sectors, Ramazan Yanar said that in addition to the existing 6 thousand 500 square meters of closed area in Eskişehir OSB, the construction of another 7 thousand 500 square meters of closed area has been completed. Ramazan Yanar stated that they continue their activities on a total area of 22 thousand square meters; “In addition to the productions we make for the railway sector, we also produce cases on the Tırsan chassis by combining our experience and skills in the production of on-vehicle equipment with the Tırsan brand. With the purchase of wagons that started in 2012, the construction of our new factory and the purchase of machinery and equipment, our investment of approximately 3 million euros will be completed in 2016, ”he said.
Explaining that they continue to make the necessary investments on the way to growth, Yanar said that under the leadership of Tülomsaş, they completed the production of 10 new generation “Ballast Wagon” operating with 40 bar pressure for TCDD use in 2015 and delivered them. Referring to ballast wagon production as well as other production activities, Yanar said, “We have realized the modernization of the driver cabins of DE 24000 type locomotives, the production of high risk parts of GE Power Haul locomotives, and the production of the electrical cabinets of Hyundai Rotem locomotives”.
Stating that the wagons they produce for the iron and steel main industry are not affected by high temperatures and can operate at 600 to 800 degrees Celsius, Ramazan Yanar said, “Taking as reference the wagons we produced for KARDEMİR before, İSDEMİR gave us an order. The wagon we produce for KARDEMİR carries billet iron, while the wagon we produce for İSDEMİR carries three products: rolled sheet, slap and billet. No changes are made on the wagon while carrying different products. Thanks to our design, the wagon can carry all three products. This innovative feature eliminates time losses during different product transportation ”. Explaining that they demonstrate their quality production with the documents they have, Ramazan Yanar emphasized that the companies that manufacture welded on railways in Europe are one of the first companies to receive the EN 15085 (together with EN 3834) certificate, which is the highest standard documenting their production quality.
