Çanakkale Bridge Provided Çed Approval

EIA Approval was given to the Dardanelles Bridge: As one of Turkey's most prestigious transportation projects will be implemented in Istanbul and Çanakkale-Balıkesir Motorway Project's EIA report was approved. Starting from Istanbul Silivri and continuing to include the Çanakkale Bridge, the motorway will end in Balıkesir.
The construction of the Tekirdağ-Çanakkale section of the road, which is planned to be 352 kilometers in total, will begin on March 18, 2017. Within the scope of the project, in addition to the Çanakkale Bosphorus Bridge, a total of 31 viaducts, 5 tunnels, 30 crossroads and 143 underpass and overpass bridges will be built. With the new highway project, which will facilitate crossings from Europe to the Aegean and the Mediterranean, the capacity of commercial freight transport and tourism voyages will also increase.
The length of the Çanakkale Strait Bridge, which will be located between Gelibolu and Lapseki, has been calculated as 3 meters, the middle span of the bridge as 869 meters and the side span of one thousand meters.
