The traffic on the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge was disrupted: 4 lanes of the 3-lane road were closed to traffic due to the dismantling work of the tower crane on the European side of the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge.
For safety reasons, the controlled lanes of the most left lane were provided while the lanes were closed.
Meanwhile, at the entrance to the bridge from the European Side, a vehicle queue of approximately 5 kilometers was formed. Some drivers protested the situation by honking, while a truck driver said he could reach the 4-kilometer road in 50 minutes.
