Mayor Kamil Saraçoğlu gave the following information about the nostalgia train in his speech:
We are trying to promote the historical and cultural richness of our Kütahya. In this context, we offer the nostalgia train we prepared about 8 months ago. This train, which we have built completely hand-made in Eskişehir, will take both our people and our guests coming from outside the province free of charge, from the Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urbanization to Zafer Square, Asım Gündüz Street to the historical Fortress. Thus, we will both get on the train as a nostalgia and we will have the opportunity to see the history of our city on site.
Following the speech of Mayor Saraçoğlu, Governor Ahmet Hamdi Nayir, Police Chief Hasan Çevik, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Mustafa Uğur and the citizens took the train to the historical Hisar Castle. Citizens took plenty of souvenir photos in front of the nostalgia train.
