At Taksim Metro Station, Metin Y. attempted suicide by jumping on the rails. MY, who was stuck between the metro and the rails, which made the Yenikapı-Hacıosman expedition, was rescued as injured, and the voyages were disrupted for about 45 minutes.

The incident occurred at around 18.00 at Taksim Metro Station. 23-year-old MY jumped on the rails as he entered the metro station on the Yenikapı-Hacıosman expedition. MY was injured by being trapped between the wagon and rails. Passengers and security officials who saw the incident reported the situation to the police, health and firefighters. During the rescue efforts, subway services were stopped in one way.

Wounded Rescued

The firefighters who came to the station rescued MY between the rails he was stuck in after about 30 minutes of work. Metin Y., who was found to be injured in his head and shoulder, was taken to Şişli Hamidiye Training and Research Hospital by ambulance. It was learned that Metin Y., who was treated, was in good health.

While it was stated that Metin Y. was partially visually impaired, it was suggested that he left his girlfriend a while ago and therefore attempted suicide as a result of the crisis he entered.
