TÜVASAŞ made a written statement about the 'National Electric Train' project. TÜVASAŞ, which will produce the wagon series of the National Electric Train Project, announced that the investment allowance was received from the Ministry of Development for the manufacturing factory to be established for the production of wagons and that a tender will be held soon. Stating that the tender process has also started for the machine lines to be used in production, the following statement was made:
“The National Electric Train Series Project, which will be produced by TÜVASAŞ within the scope of the National Train Project initiated by the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communication and TCDD, continues. In this context, the order of 160 wagons to be given to TÜVASAŞ was approved by the Ministry of Development and sent to the High Planning Council. For this purpose, an aluminum wagon body manufacturing factory will be established within TÜVASAŞ. Investment allowance has been received from the Ministry of Development for the factory to be established. The projects of the mentioned factory building have been completed and the construction tender will be made in the near future. Regarding aluminum body manufacturing, the tender process has been initiated for the robotic welding machine line required for sidewall, roof and chassis manufacturing, the robotic welding machine line to be used for aluminum body joining and the machining center to be used in the machining of aluminum body sub-assemblies and will be tendered in October. . The project development process for the National Train Project in question continues and the first design phase has been completed. Technical specifications for the main components to be used within the scope of this project have been prepared and the procurement and tender process has been initiated. THE PROJECT IS NOT ATTACHED SOMUT STEP

However, no concrete steps have been taken regarding the project in question today. Because there is a management gap. TCDD does not even take the management here. There is a perception like this: 'TÜVASAŞ is not in a position to do this job. We get ready from outside 'this is the case. Recently, there has been wagon production only with Koreans.
