Konya gets its new YHT Station: Work has started for the new high-speed train station, which will make Konya a center for railway transportation. In the tender held recently, the site was delivered to the Altındağ-İntim partnership, which undertook the construction of the station. Company employees also started excavation in the region. The station, whose contract price is 66 million 850 thousand TL, will rise in the Old Wheat Market area.
The new Konya YHT Station will carry Konya to the most important railway junction point of Central Anatolia. The collection and distribution of Ankara, Eskişehir High Speed Train Lines and Konya-Karaman-Ulukışla-Yenice and Kayseri-Aksaray-Konya-Seydişehir-Antalya High Speed Railway Lines it will be. The subway line will also connect here.
The project is planned to be completed in 2018.
