According to the decision published in the Official Gazette, the new airport will have rail system connections with Gayrettepe-Istanbul New Airport. Halkalı-İstanbul New Airport metro lines will be made by the Ministry.
6 WILL GO FROM THE PROVINCE
The project cost of the metro line which will pass through Şişli, Kağıthane, Eyüp, Arnavutköy, Başakşehir and Küçükçekmece districts will be determined as 4 million 845 thousand pounds. Total 600 will be the length of the metro line Gayrettepe 66. Airport direction and 3. Airport Halkalı It was planned as 33 kilometers in the direction. With the implementation of the project, the transportation between the city center and the 3rd Airport will be reduced to 30 minutes by metro line.
13 STATION WILL TAKE PLACE
There will be a total of 13 stations on the metro line. The first stage of 7 stations will be completed between 2016-2018 and the second stage consisting of 6 stations will be completed between 2-2018. Metro line stops will be listed as follows: “Gayrettepe, Kağıthane, Kemerburgaz, Göktürk, İhsaniye, 2021. Airport 3, 2. Airport 3, Arnavutköy 1, Arnavutköy 1, Kayaşehir Metrokent, Olimpiyatköy, Halkalı Stadium, Halkalı.
