Freight Train Derailed in Yozgat: As a result of the overturning of 7 wagons of the train carrying an empty fuel tank in the Yerköy district of Yozgat, the Yerköy-Ankara railway was shut down.
According to the information obtained, 13 of the 364 wagons of the 19 thousand 7 train, which took the empty fuel wagons from Yerköy to Kırıkkale in the Sekili Village of Yerköy district, were derailed and overturned while maneuvering.
As a result of the overturning of the wagons, the 21 electric pole and train tracks of the railways were damaged. After the accident, the gendarmerie and State Railways teams launched work at the scene. Due to the accident, the Yerköy-Ankara railway closed for transportation. It was stated that the railway would be opened after the damaged rails were repaired.
