The works on Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, which will be opened on August 26, have reached the final stage. On the third bridge, 700 engineers and 6 personnel work on a 500-hour basis, while 24 industrial climbers, 322 of them are from Antalya, perform the LED lighting works of 3 meters high towers and suspended ropes.

Industrial Climber Heval Kal said that the lighting process of the bridge has been completed and tests have been carried out. Stating that it is exciting to work in the towers of the bridge, the mountaineer Kal said, “I have been doing this for years, but experiencing this excitement is a different feeling. The magnificent nature and sea view is under our feet. After these processes are over, Istanbul will have its new shiny necklace. ”

Stating that those who want to enjoy the unique beauty of the Bosphorus, especially from Yoros Castle in Beykoz Anadolu Kavağı and watching the view with great pleasure, Kal added that Istanbulites can enjoy the night view of this magnificent work from both sides of the Bosphorus.

Approximately 5 million dollars for the light design of the bridge were estimated to be spent, while the 40 LED led lighting system was used on the bridge. Upon completion of the project, Yeşilköy Airport, Kurtköy Airport and the new 3rd Airport will be connected with the rail system that will be integrated with Marmaray and Istanbul Metro. The North Marmara Motorway and the 3rd Bosphorus Bridge are realized with the "Build, Operate, Transfer" model.
