The route, which takes approximately 2 hours by car, can be reached in 4 minutes thanks to the bridge in Izmit Bay. While the advantages of the whole highway to shorten the distance by 95 kilometers compared to the current state road are calculated in feasibility studies, it is envisaged that the current transportation time of 8-10 hours will decrease to 3-3,5 hours and in return, it will save 650 million dollars per year.
