Greek rail company Italians: The sale of the Greek state railways passenger and cargo transportation company TRAINOSE to 45 million euros to the Italian state railway company Ferrovie Dello Stato Italian was approved.
100 percent of TRAINOSE's shares will be transferred to the Italian company for 45m euros, according to the country's privatization Greek Asset Development Fund (HRADF).
In the statement, which stated that a process that started three years ago was completed, the statements of “privatization of TRAINOSE will lead to further development as well as the survival of the company”.
The statement also reported that this transfer would be the basis for the closure of the investigation of the 750 million-euro subsidy provided by the European State to TRAINOSE by the European Commission.
