The scandals in the High Speed Train tenders are not backed up.
The route of Bursa-Yenişehir YHT line has been changed many times. 75 kilometers of the 50-kilometer road were reconstructed because of the lake, agricultural land, greenhouse, building, and mountains. The line, which is stated to cost 393 million TL at the beginning of the tender, reached 870 million TL. The damage of the public has risen to 75 kilometers or even 477 million TL.
AUDIT REPORTS
During the talks of the TCDD accounts at the TBMM KIT Commission, million dollar YHT auctions came up. The TCA reports on irregularities detected on the Bursa-Yenişehir line, which were put out to tender in 2011, were discussed. It turned out that the scandals reported by the Court of Accounts in 2012 have not been asked for 4 years. TCDD General Manager İsa Apaydınreiterated that the scandal is still being investigated by the Ministry of Transport.
"PROJECT PREPARED ON THE GOOGLE MAP"
Speaking about the scandal at the TBMM KIT Commission, CHP Kocaeli Deputy Haydar Akar said, “One night came to mind that a Bursa-Yenişehir line was built. I say sincerely they walked from a project prepared on Google map. 393 million TL has been spent so far, which has been tendered for 560 million TL. Only 75 percent of the 30-kilometer line has made physical progress, and 70 percent still lags behind. 75 kilometers of the 50 kilometers line have changed. On the one hand, they said, "There is a lake, we cannot pass here," on the other hand, they said, "There are agricultural lands, we cannot pass here."
NONE OF THE AGRICULTURE LAND BEFORE THE TENDER?
Fahrettin Oğuz Tor, a member of the KIT Commission's MHP, reacted to a route change after the signing of the contract in 75 kilometers of the 50-kilometer line. Stating that the costs were multiplied since the infrastructure works were not done before the tender, Tor said, “I don't know how it happened, but it is not a job. In other words, it is not possible for the mind and logic to take them. The line in the project passes through valuable agricultural lands, orchards and greenhouses, and DSI affects Bursa's 20-year drinking water network plans. Have these lands and greenhouses been here before? ” reacted.
