That road was completed in the Alsancak district of İzmir. Transportation on the road is now provided by two sheriffs. When Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım was the Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, signatures were signed between the TCDD General Directorate and the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, after the order to sign the protocol, which will be a solution to the traffic congestion experienced for years due to the narrowing of the road at the entrance of Alsancak in Izmir. Metropolitan Municipality teams, which started to work quickly, demolished the garden wall belonging to TCDD. Most of the garden wall, which retreated about 1 meter, was rebuilt. The opened area was paved. The road between Vahap Özaltay Square and Alsancak Station front can now be used as two lanes in both directions.
