EIA PROCESS STARTED
The EIA process for the Vezneciler-Gaziosmanpaşa-Sultangazi Rail System Line project, which will serve between the Fatih, Eyüp, Gaziosmanpaşa and Sultangazi districts of Istanbul, has started. The promotional file of the metro line project was approved by the Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urbanization of Istanbul Governorship. The Directorate of Infrastructure Projects of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Directorate of Studies and Projects, will implement the project. Project cost of Vezneciler- Gaziosmanpaşa metro line was calculated as 2 billion 200 million TL. The route of this rail system line will be connected to the four important regions of Istanbul: Fatih, Eyüp, Gaziosmanpaşa and Sultangazi. The route starts from Vezneciler district in Fatih district and passes through Edirnekapı to Eyüp and Rami to reach Gaziosmanpaşa Meydan. This line then ends in the Masjid al-Salam area through Küçükköy and Yeni Mahalle stops.
INTEGRATED INTO METRO LINES
The project is connected to the Şişhane-Yenikapı subway line at the Vezneciler station, thus ensuring integration with Marmaray. The project will also be integrated in the Yenikalle station of Mecidiyekoy-Mahmutbey metro station in Yenimahalle district, at the Yenimahalle station, and at the Aykavarsaray station on the Kazlıçeşme-Söğütlüçeşme metro line at the Gaziosmanpaşa station and again at the planned İncirli-Söğütlüçeşme metro line. Vezneciler-Gaziosmanpaşa metro line will have a very important place in this way in whole rail system network.
2019 WILL GO TO LIFE
