Giant projects to the Aegean: Prime Minister Binali Yildirim in the program offered to the Parliament, Izmir and the Aegean Region attracts great attention to investments

Prime Minister Binali Yildirim, the government offered 65 programs to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. In the program, transportation and infrastructure investments, which were emphasized to be made in Izmir and Aegean Region, drew attention. In the meeting led by Parliament Speaker İsmail Kahraman, the proposal of the AK Party group was accepted and the new government program was read. It was noted that the projects initiated by Prime Minister Yıldırım during the period of the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications were continuing in the program, and that new highway projects would start to be built. Here are the projects of Izmir and Aegean, which are in the 65th Government: Istanbul-Bursa-Izmir (including the Gulf Passage Bridge) and the Northern Marmara Motorway will be put into service in this period. Construction of the Çiğli-Aliağa and Çandarlı highways will begin until 2019. The Ankara-Sivrihisar-İzmir highway will be completed. The construction of the high-speed train line between Ankara and Izmir will be completed regionally. The East-West Railway high-speed train freight transport, which will also pass through Izmir to Habur, will be completed by 2023. Most of the Aydın-Denizli Highway will be completed. A section of Çandarlı Port will be opened and put into service.
