Railway transportation in Azerbaijan will exceed 2025 million tons in 25: President of Azerbaijan Railways Agency, Javid Gurbanov, stated that railway transportation in Azerbaijan will exceed 2025 million tons in 25.
Expressing that Azerbaijan Railways is working to increase freight transportation, Gurbanov stated that the decrease in transportation is due to devaluation and decrease in exports.
Emphasizing that the economy should be diversified, Gurbanov stated that especially transit transportation should be given importance and stated that the geographical location of Azerbaijan provides an opportunity to become a transit transportation center.
