Şehit Rafet saw Karacan Boulevard: The most important part of the tramway project between İzmit Bus Station and Seka Park was the Şehit Rafet Karacan Boulevard.
YAHYA HAS STARTED FROM KAPTAN
The first rails in the tram project were laid in Yahya Kaptan Neighborhood. The rail assembly started from Hanlı Street continued in Salkım Söğüt, Sarı Mimoza and Necip Fazıl Streets. Immediately after Yahya Kaptan, the teams started the laying of a railroad on the Martyr Rafet Karacan Boulevard in front of the new Governor's Office. The 300 meter rail was laid between the points where the boulevard intersected with Köse Street and Atatürk Boulevard in the direction of İzmit. The study is expected to be completed by the end of this month.
