Tramway Construction in Kocaeli is in Progress: The tramway line, in which the rail system will be implemented in Kocaeli, is underway in many streets and neighborhoods.
The tram line, which will be implemented by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality for the first time in Kocaeli, is proceeding without slowing down. Infrastructure and superstructure works, rail production are carried out at many points such as Yahya Kaptan neighborhood, Şehit Rafet Karacan street, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Boulevard and Necip Fazıl street. The infrastructure and road works in the Yahya Kaptan Quarter are planned to be completed by the end of May. Martyr Rafet Karacan Street and Gazi Mustafa Kemal Boulevard is expected to be completed at the end of June.
