Farewell to the Last Representative of the First Domestic Automobile Revolution

Representative of the First Domestic Car Revolution's Last Farewell: Turkey was the last representative of the Revolution who survive the first indigenous car team. Mechanical Engineer Kemalettin Vardar, who passed away, was sent off on his last trip yesterday.

Turkey's first domestic life of the team that the car was the last representative of the Revolution. This time he had his own funeral on the musalla stone, where he had traveled with his wife just 8 months ago. It was 3 weeks before her grandchild gave birth. Mechanical Engineer Kemalettin Vardar passed away without seeing his grandchild's baby.

Employees, friends and relatives of the Eskişehir Locomotive Factory, which he directed for many years, attended the funeral of 83-year-old Vardar in Üsküdar Şakirin Mosque.

"'MY CHILD' said"

His daughter Gülay Vardar Ersoy accepted the condolences for Kemalettin Vardar, who had sent his wife Nihal Vardar from the same mosque 8 months ago. Saying that his father loved Devrim like his child, Ersoy used to say, “My child”. He also cried while telling. "Until the last moment, he still had work on the Revolution on his desk."

LEADERSHIP IN THE TEAM THAT MAKES DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE PRODUCTION

Ömer Börekçi, who worked with Kemalettin Vardar at the Eskişehir Locomotive Factory, said, “He led the production of the Diesel Locomotive 10 years after the Revolution car,” and talked about another less known success of Vardar. While the names of life in the same team attended the funeral ceremony, they explained that Vardar was looking for answers to the questions of how to make the locomotive locally and in which areas it should be used more.

Sevil Vardar, one of her relatives, said that the fact that the Devrim car could not be produced has saddened Kemalettin Vardar throughout his life and said, "He was an ineligible person."

The funeral prayer was performed for Kemalettin Vardar after the noon prayer. Vardar's body was buried next to his wife in the Karacaahmet Cemetery.
