Feasibility Studies for Erzincan Tram Line Start: Erzincan Municipality Light Rail System Project Transportation master plan preparation, tram area planning and feasibility studies will start
Urban transportation master plan, tram route, tram area planning and feasibility studies will be started for Erzincan Light Rail System Project. After the necessary studies are completed, an application will be made to the General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments (AYGM). Approximate cost calculations will be made after obtaining the necessary approvals. After the preparatory work is completed, it is expected that the tender will be held for the project in 2017. Gazi University High Urban Planner and Urban Transport Directorate will support the tram urban transportation master plan of the project. Stage 1 of the project in question is expected to be located over the infrastructure and the university over 15 km (Terminal - Between University), and will include 9 towns in the center.
