Expressing his pleasure to host Kadir Topbaş in Iran, Ghalibaf said, “We are trying to finish the Tehran metro just like Istanbul. We are building 25 kilometers of subway per year and we will build a total of 300 kilometers of line. We follow the investments in Istanbul closely. "The subways, tunnels, the tunnel under the Bosphorus you designed between Marmaray and Üsküdar-Beşiktaş are amazing projects."

"WE DO NOT PROMISE WE WILL NOT SUCCEED"

Mayor Topbaş stated that the construction of a 150-kilometer subway in Istanbul is continuing and that they are the only municipality in the world to build metro from their own resources, and said that IMM has no internal debt and current foreign debt.

Saying, “We came from a municipality that could not pay a salary in the past to a municipality that built metro with its own resources,” Topbaş said, “We make subways and other major investments with the support of our people. We do not promise that we will fail, and when we promise, we always do. "We could not have accomplished such great things without the trust of Istanbulites".

During the visit, which was also attended by KİPTAŞ General Manager İsmet Yıldırım, cultural and tourism investments in Istanbul and Tehran were also discussed. During the meeting, he decided that KİPTAŞ will make a housing investment in Tehran.

Kadir Topbaş, using his office car himself, visited the 300-acre Artificial Lake, Recreation Area, Nature Bridge and Space Science Museum in the city, and received information. Topbaş, who examined the 18-pound meteorite that fell in Iran in the museum, was also presented with information about the International Tehran Fair.

PRESIDENT TOPBAŞ VISITED THE MİLAD TOWER

Topbaş, who told his Iranian colleague about the world's largest congress and exhibition center project they planned to build in Istanbul, said that the center, which will be equipped with various functions that family members can visit together, will be the first in the world with this feature.

Kadir Topbaş, together with Mayor Ghalibaf, toured Milad Tower, which is the fourth tallest skyscraper in the world with a height of 435 meters and the symbol of Tehran, the capital of Iran. Architect Kadir Topbaş talked with Ghalibaf about the architectural developments in Tehran, looking at the city from the highest point.
