TÜDEMSAŞ Deputy General Manager Ahmet İzzet Göze, said in a statement, about 20 year before the gathering began to collect over a thousand pieces of the museum exhibited in the museum, he said.

Expressing that the factory employees collected many pieces for the museum, Göze said, “Our friends brought the materials they deemed suitable for the museum. Göze explained that some of the pieces produced by different countries were exhibited in the museum, the factory, the foundation of which was laid in 1934, was opened in 1939 and that the parts brought from Germany were used especially for railway transportation.

Expressing that the visitors of the museum liked very much, Göze said, “There are even plates that some foreign companies put on locomotives or wagons. Visitors to the museum are very fond of it. We also have visitors from abroad. They also attach great importance to this kind of work. They can see the parts of the machines that they have built 100 years or more of their own nation here, and in this case they like it very much. ” used the expression.

The engine block pattern of the "Revolution" car attracts the most attention

Göze mentioned some of the pieces in the museum, said:

“There are pieces from the Ottoman period in the museum. There are hand tools from that period and lighting used in railways. There are plates of locomotives used in Ottoman railways and even telephone exchanges from that period. They made a model from the first wagons that started to be produced in our factory, these are located in our museum. There are models of all the wagons manufactured, and even the model of the Bozkurt locomotive. The engine block mold made by TÜDEMSAŞ technical staff for the first domestic automobile "Revolution" is also exhibited in the museum. A foundry was opened in 1951. In this foundry, they made the engine block and some parts of the Revolution car. A mold of this piece is in our museum. Even the most interesting piece. ”

Göze stated that those who visit the museum can easily see where the railway history came from and where the wooden, iron and concrete sleepers used in the construction of the railways can be examined, “We have photos of those years. The aim here is to exhibit our own products, part of this is completely our own products. Our employees who see the museum are more enthusiastic.
