PROSE has become a strategic partner for the upcoming X2000 upgrade: PROSE has signed a cooperation agreement with Swedtrac (a subsidiary of Knorr-Bremse) on the upgrade of the SJ X2000 fleet. This contract is a continuation of the agreement between Swedtrac and SJ for the X2000 modernization. PROSE served Swedtrac as a consultant during the tender phase. In the project, PROSE will be responsible for project management, electrical-mechanical engineering, homologation and RAMS and will provide technical documentation services.

The project will start shortly and will mainly include refurbishment both inside and outside the X2000. This modernization will provide a completely new travel experience on Sweden's fastest trains, with new surfaces, new seats and more efficient lighting.
