EIA process for North Railway

EIA process for the Northern Railway: Dates of the EIA meeting have been determined for the "Adapazarı-Istanbul Northern Crossing Railway" project, which is the most important part of the Istanbul-Ankara High Speed ​​Railway project of the Ministry of Transport.

The big project will be held at the Leyla Atakan Cultural Center in 10 on May, 2015. On the same day, the second EIA meeting on the same project will take place at 10.00 at Pendik.

6.8 BILLION TL
With the High Speed ​​Train, the duration of the Istanbul-Ankara journey will be reduced to 1.5 hours. The cost of the Adapazarı-Istanbul North Crossing part of the project is calculated as 6 billion 760 million TL. When the new railway, which will run parallel to the Northern Marmara Highway, is completed, the High Speed ​​Train will not go from the road on the Izmit coast, but on this new road in the north. The existing railway on the Izmit coast will be left to suburban trains and city transportation.

3 NCU CONNECTED TO BRIDGE
The Northern Railway line will pass through Kartepe-Izmit-Derince Dilovası-Gebze ridges in our city and will be connected to Thrace via the 3rd Bosphorus Bridge (Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge), which is planned to be completed in August. The railway line starting from Ankara Sincan enters our city from Kartepe district. The new railway moves from Kartepe Uzunçiftlik Beşevler district towards the north of İzmit and next to the Northern Marmara Motorway. In the EIA meeting to be held at Leyla Atakan Cultural Center on May 10, the route of this project, which is of great importance for both the country and the city, will be clearly revealed.
