Anadolu Express took a life: It was alleged that Selçuk, who was reported to be alcoholic and did not listen to the official who warned him, may have committed suicide.
The accident occurred today at 19.40 at Soğukkuyu Level Crossing. Anatolian Express 32259, which made the Izmir-Denizli expedition, which was engineered by Arif Özcan, hit Özer Selçuk, who was trying to cross the level crossing. Selçuk, who was seriously injured in the accident, was taken to Aydın State Hospital with an ambulance called by the people around. Özer Selçuk, who was taken to treatment, died despite the interventions.
SUSPECT
It was stated that Özer Selçuk, alleged to be an alcoholic, did not heed the warnings of the officer at the level crossing. The body of Özer Selçuk, who was dealing with the possibility that he may have committed suicide, was removed to the morgue after the examination at the scene.
The level crossing, which was closed for approximately one hour due to the accident, was reopened after the inspection. Police launched an investigation into the incident.
