TEP33A Locomotives Launched in Kazakhstan

In Kazakhstan, TEP33A Locomotives Launched: Kazakhstan Railways (KTZ) said that GE Transportation and LKZ started to operate in the middle of the country's locomotives. The new locomotives are used to transport passengers in the Almaty-Aktogay line.
As a result of the agreement made at the InnoTrans 2012 fair between Kazakhstan Railways and GE Transportation, the locomotives are being used as another version of the TE33A locomotives. Along with the new locomotives produced, the old locomotives in the Kazakhstan Railways inventory will also be changed.
The wagons designed for Kazakhstan Railways were produced at GE Transportation's Grove City and Erie factories in the USA. Skoda Electric produced engines for locomotives and 475 kW engines.
