Mongolia-China Railway Transit Cargo Volume Increases: In the meeting on determining the international cargo volume by rail transport in Sochi, Russia, it was announced that the volume of transit transportation from Russia to China via Mongolia will be 4 million 100 tons.
At the meeting held in Sochi, Russia to determine the volume of international cargo with railway transportation, it was agreed that the volume of transit transportation from Russia to China via Mongolia would be 4 million 100 tons and this was 2.5 times more than the previous year "Ulanbator Railway". Its President L. Purevbaatar presented it to the Vice President of the "Ulanbator Railway", D. Jigjidnyamaa, Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg.
The amount of transportation from Mongolia to China is 6 299 000 tons and 5 million tons of iron ore, and 1 million tons of surplus will be transported compared to last year. This year 2.5 million tons of crude oil will pass through Mongolia as transit transport from Russia to China. Total transit revenue of 50 million dollars will be generated from transit transportation.
