TEP33A Locomotives Launched in Kazakhstan

TEP33A Locomotives Started Expeditions in Kazakhstan: In the statement made by Kazakhstan Railways (KTZ), it was stated that the locomotives made by GE Transportation and LKZ with medium works started to operate on the country's railways. The new locomotives purchased are used to transport passengers on the Almaty-Aktogay line.
As a result of the agreement made at the InnoTrans 2012 fair between Kazakhstan Railways and GE Transportation, the locomotives are being used as another version of the TE33A locomotives. Along with the new locomotives produced, the old locomotives in the Kazakhstan Railways inventory will also be changed.
The wagons designed for Kazakhstan Railways were produced at GE Transportation's Grove City and Erie factories in the USA. Skoda Electric produced engines for locomotives and 475 kW engines.
